Job Summary
Distribution Specialist for Jungle Boys responsible for end-to-end distribution operations in a cannabis manufacturing environment, including picking, packing, labeling, inventory verification, discrepancy resolution, supporting audits and delivery logistics, and ensuring GMP-compliant processes. The role involves maintaining accuracy in inventory, coordinating with Distribution and Delivery teams to meet deadlines, and complying with security procedures to safeguard inventory. Preferred qualifications include experience with inventory tracking software, GMP SOPs, and strong math, communication, and teamwork skills.
Required Qualifications
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills to handle high volumes of detail-oriented tasks
- Accurately pick, pack, and label products to fulfill orders while ensuring compliance with all regulatory and company requirements
- Verify incoming and outgoing inventory, including batch and lot numbers, product descriptions, and unit counts, against supporting documentation such as contact sheets and manifests
- Identify and troubleshoot discrepancies in inventory and order fulfillment; report issues to leadership in a timely and effective manner
- Support and participate in regular inventory audits and cycle counts as assigned by Department Manager
- Support the Delivery fleet and Driver logistics as necessary
- Receive, inventory, and audit incoming and outgoing shipments between facilities; support the distribution to proper departments
- Partnering with Distribution and Delivery team personnel to ensure all targets and deadlines are understood and achieved on time; remain flexible as business needs evolve
- Complying with all documented security procedures and safeguarding inventory against diversion.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in inventory tracking software in a cannabis, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or related field
- Proficiency in mathematical calculations
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standard operating procedures, checklists, and protocols
