Job Summary
Distribute and manage performance of Axalta & U – Pol distributors in an assigned region as a key member of the local sales team. Act as the primary contact for distributors within the defined region, developing and executing a sales plan that targets profitability and distribution growth across Axalta Refinish & U – Pol product families, in alignment with regional goals. Collaborate with Sales, Account and Market Specialists to coordinate plan implementation, explore opportunities to expand the distribution footprint through new distribution, line additions and stock-point expansions, and manage end-to-end distribution needs with cross-functional teams (supply chain, product groups, customer service). Monitor industry trends, communicate product advantages, and pursue innovative opportunities to drive market success. Conduct regular distributor follow-ups and business reviews to achieve results, balance strong distributor relationships with company interests, and ensure proper use of CRM tools. Willingness to travel extensively (up to 60%) and, potentially, to relocate. Axalta emphasizes a global coatings focus across segments and markets, with a strong sustainability and safety orientation. Recruitment tools may be used to support candidate review, and Fraud alerts are in place for security.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and/or 7+ years Automotive Refinish industry experience or Aftersales Automotive Market (tire business, oil business ...)
- 5+ years of selling and retention experience with a track record of hitting or exceeding goals
- Experience selling to or managing relationships with top-tier customers / distributors preferred
- Strong business acumen / financial understanding or ability to build business cases
- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, relationship-building and presentation skills
- Basic oral and written English knowledge (fluency preferred)
- Must possess strong organizational, interpersonal and time management skills
- Willingness to travel up to 60%
- Versatility to flex into different positions
