Job Summary
Distribution Planning Specialist role translating priorities into structured initiatives across the Distribution business, tracking milestones and outcomes, and collaborating across stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective execution. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining the Distribution business plan, delivering programs with clear milestones, supporting performance reporting cycles, tracking progress against financial, customer and operational outcomes, and partnering with stakeholders for disciplined delivery. Required skills include experience in business planning or strategy execution in insurance/financial services, ability to translate strategy into concrete plans and performance frameworks, strong stakeholder engagement, financial/customer acumen with data-driven decision-making, prioritization in a fast-paced environment, and excellent written/verbal communication. The position is a 6-month max-term, full-time role based in multiple locations across Australia, with work-from-home flexibility offered.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in business planning or strategy execution roles, preferably within insurance or financial services
- Ability to translate strategy into clear, structured plans and performance frameworks
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to work collaboratively and build effective working relationships
- Sound commercial, financial and customer acumen, with confidence working with data and performance metrics
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including reporting to senior audiences
- A proactive, organised mindset with a focus on delivery and outcomes
