Distribution & Planning Lead- Limpopo

Job Summary
Lead the design of optimal delivery routes and oversee fleet maintenance to distribute 200,000 loaves daily to 6,000 customers while balancing demand across two manufacturing facilities. Manage stock levels, implement warehouse and transport management systems, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Own the distribution budget covering transportation, labor, and warehouse expenses while driving continuous network optimization. Set performance goals for the distribution team, oversee shift schedules, and handle industrial relations procedures. Build daily communication channels with sales and operations to maximize product availability and P&L performance.
Required Qualifications
- Logistics, Supply Chain Diploma/Degree or similar qualification
- Minimum 10 years relevant experience in warehousing and distribution within a unionised environment
- Minimum of 5 years in a leadership position
- Proficient in MS Office
- Proficient in SAP or equivalent ERP system
