Job Summary
Distribution Planner 1 oversees administration of construction and maintenance projects, processes applications and payments for new service, communicates policies and timelines to internal/external customers, coordinates underground utility locates, updates district project data, prepares work orders with contracts/easements/permits/cost estimates, creates service requests for metering and upgrades, schedules pre-development and pre-construction meetings, relays changes to communications companies, processes damage claims and invoices, and maintains confidentiality and adherence to evolving technology; position requires effective communication, data entry, GIS software knowledge, understanding of distribution practices, and the ability to manage changing priorities in an office environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Two years of directly related work experience
- Valid Driver’s License
