Job Summary
Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and neat inventory stocking in assigned locations. Pick, pack, and prepare accessory orders for shipment while operating forklifts in compliance with safety regulations. Prepare documentation for outbound shipments, operate the Shipping Management system, and load carrier trucks. Perform cycle counting of inventory and maintain attention to detail during frequent standing, walking, and lifting tasks. Work in a warehouse environment with dust exposure, requiring excellent attendance and basic math skills.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent attendance
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment with co-workers
- Strong attention to detail
- Possess basic math skills with ability to add, subtract, divide, and multiply
- Light computer/data entry experience
- Requires frequent standing, walking, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching with hands and arms
- Occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance
- Visual and hearing acuity
- Requires ability to frequently lift 35 lbs or less unassisted; occasionally lift 36 – 70 lbs with assistance, if needed; lifting greater than 70 lbs requires assistance
- Warehouse environment with exposure to dust
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred but not required
- A minimum of 1 year experience in a warehouse environment is preferred
- Previous experience with pallet jackets, tape dispensers, utility knives is a plus
