Job Summary
Sort and place products or POS materials on racks according to designated locations. Assemble customer orders from stock, place them on pallets, wrap with stretch film, and prepare for shipping. Accurately identify and count products for redistribution, mark incoming and outgoing items with identifying information, and verify received amounts. Operate material handling equipment to transport stored items and prepare for daily cycle count inventory. Complete daily maintenance power equipment checklists and report defective equipment while adhering to hygienic and safety guidelines. Participate in scheduled warehousing sanitation and cleaning.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to qualify and maintain fork lift operator's license/certification
- DOT certification required in some locations
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively to customers or employees of organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving occasional variables in standardized situations
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds
