Job Summary
Load and unload trailers of palletized and non-palletized product and POS material using manual and power equipment. Sort products on racks, assemble customer orders into pallets, wrap with stretch film, and prepare for shipping. Mark incoming and outgoing items with identifying information including date codes, route numbers, and case counts. Verify received amounts, operate RF scanning and voice picking equipment, and perform daily cycle counts. Maintain power equipment, keep aisles clear, and adhere to food safety and hygiene guidelines. Report defective equipment and injuries to supervision.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- one year of experience
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds
- Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to stand
- Must be able to walk
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Must be able to talk or hear
- Must be able to sit
- Must be able to climb or balance
- Must be able to work with moving mechanical parts
- Must be able to work in wet and/or humid conditions
