Job Summary
Distribution Manager for second shift leading a fast-paced warehouse operation in Plant City, FL. Responsible for day-to-day management of multiple Supervisors, staffing planning to meet operational demands, inbound/outbound loading and unloading, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring safety and customer service standards. Focus areas include achieving business objectives through staffing optimization, KPI tracking, budget and P&L management, and continuous staff development via coaching, performance reviews, and training. Requires strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills to drive results and foster professional relationships with clients and internal teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- High school Diploma/GED required
- Must possess 10 years of experience within the 3PL industry, in which five (5) years are in a leadership role of a warehouse or distribution center
- Must have at least two (2) years of experience managing a P&L
- Excellent communication and presentations skills; ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, associates, and the public
