Job Summary
Lead planning, scheduling, and oversight of MVEC contract ROW crews, ensuring work adheres to the MVEC/IBEW Local Union 160 Labor Agreement and safety standards. Supervise warehouse and logistics functions to support operational objectives, managing inventory control, material handling, and distribution practices. Direct facility maintenance activities and substation properties, developing preventive and predictive maintenance programs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems. Serve as On-Call Supervisor as assigned and provide personnel orientation, training, coaching, and performance evaluations for direct reports.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate
- 7 years of construction line work experience
- Certified in D.O.T. Drug and Awareness (or able to obtain within 6 months)
- Valid MN CDL drivers license and good driving record
- Knowledge in all aspects of power line construction and maintenance
- Strong emphasis on electrical technology
- Above average computer skills
- Above average mechanical skills
- Excellent people skills

Desired Qualifications
- 5 years of Foreman or Lead Foreman experience
- Power line worker Vo-tech degree
