Job Summary
Monitor inventory accuracy KPIs, analyze performance data, and create action plans for distribution centers below target levels. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, facilitate product recouping and disposition of non-saleable items, and execute cycle count audits at the Plainfield, IN distribution center. Lead root cause investigations for EDI messaging errors and maintain audit documentation to ensure compliance with Avanos SOPs. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and influence stakeholders to enhance inventory control processes and operational performance across the network.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to collaborate on-site at the Distribution Center in Plainfield, IN (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday)
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, with course work and experience indicating excellent quantitative and analytical ability, and 4-8 years of related business experience
- Ability to identify opportunities for supply chain improvements, effectively organize, plan, influence, control, and communicate plans across supply chains
- Ability to maintain and interpret records of selected inventory KPIs and other reporting for internal and external audit
- Understand 3PL Warehouse Management System capabilities
- Experience in annual inventory management controls review for 3PL DCs
Desired Qualifications
- Possess a working knowledge of distribution center operations, transportation, product planning, product sterilization, product deployment, finished good inventory control, and systems application (SAP and Business Intelligence (BI))
- Reporting capability and ability to interpret/analyze data within SAP S/4, WMS, EDI middleware, and BI dashboards
- Working knowledge of EDI transactions and EDI Error problem solving experience
- Experience maintaining records for internal and external audit
