Job Summary
Distribution Handler responsible for verifying and recording outgoing shipments, preparing items for shipment, and maintaining warehouse organization, inventory accuracy, and continuous process improvement. Key duties include fulfilling customer orders, palletizing and packaging shipments, operating lift trucks, receiving inbound shipments, organizing inventory with FIFO, participating in cycle counts, and maintaining ERP inventory records while ensuring safety and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- one year of factory or warehouse related experience in shipping and receiving
- ability to read and write English
- ability to follow verbal instructions and use simple math
- valid driver’s license
- ability to obtain a license to operate a forklift or lift truck (prior forklift experience preferred)
- proficiency with MS Office, Email, and ERP systems
