Job Summary
Load daily orders onto the truck for dispatch and safely deliver goods to venues across Sydney, Melbourne, and Cairns. Operate a forklift to unload and load goods, assist with inventory counts, and ensure general operational tidiness in your vehicle. Secure the vehicle load for safe transport and maintain accurate documentation and record keeping. Perform manual handling and stacking of products while following written and verbal instructions closely. Work unsupervised as required and troubleshoot issues independently. Weekend and public holiday work may be required. Catering HQ is a family-run company established in 1996 with 20 venues serving restaurants, cafés, and events.
Required Qualifications
- Operating a forklift to unload and load goods - forklift license required
- Valid Drivers Licence is required
- Manual handling and stacking of products
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions closely
- Be highly focused on safety, quality & hygiene compliance
- Effective communication skills
- Trouble shooting skills and ability to use initiative
- Ability to work unsupervised as required
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Weekend and Public Holiday work may be required
Desired Qualifications
- Previous Warehouse experience is highly regarded
