Job Summary
Distribution Coordinator responsible for ensuring accurate and timely data entry of shipment information, processing shipments, providing confirmation of shipments to customers, and receiving incoming shipments. Key duties include entering shipment data into Blue Yonder (and related programs such as IMI, Oracle, E2 Open, and Google Docs), responding to carrier requests for tracking, communicating delays to order originators, compiling data for management analyses, resolving inventory discrepancies, maintaining shipping/receiving files, and preparing backorders or other communications. May perform kitting, labeling, or other duties prior to shipping. Requires prioritization, dependability, teamwork or independent work, adherence to procedures, and a commitment to safe, quality operations. Forklift written and driver tests are required. Previous warehouse/distribution experience and knowledge of Blue Yonder are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- read, write, basic English communication
- pass forklift written test and driver test
- experience in manufacturing warehouse and/or distribution environment
- ability to use Blue Yonder (WMS)
- ability to schedule shipments
- ability to communicate professionally with management and cross-functional teams
- strong data entry and documentation skills
- ability to operate powered industrial equipment safely
- attention to detail and accuracy
