Job Summary
Manage daily warehouse operations by processing inventory, overseeing temporary workers, and coordinating carriers and drivers to ensure safe, reliable receipt and delivery of goods. Monitor exceptions on freight and ETA adjustments, enforce safety standards, and resolve service issues involving routing and material handling throughout the day. Perform administrative duties including payroll, budget management, safety reviews, and operational reporting while maximizing efficiency and profitability. Work Sunday through Thursday from 2:00 PM to midnight, rotating shifts to meet operational demands.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 2-3 years of experience in transportation/logistics, business administration, account management, &/or equivalent military experience
- Ability to work across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends
- Customer service skills
- Ability to process information with high levels of accuracy
- Ability to anticipate, recognize, and deal effectively with existing or potential conflicts at the individual, group, or situation level
- Ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment
- Ability to adapt to changing environments
- Ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers
- Ability to meet or exceed team/driver needs and expectations and provide excellent service in a direct or indirect manner
