Job Summary
Conduct field checks and inspect job sites to determine readiness, coordinate planning and completion dates, and dispatch assignments. Perform investigations on damaged facilities, document findings, and complete associated paperwork and electronic reporting. Promote safety for clients, contractors, customers, and the public while communicating with all stakeholders. Provide subject matter expertise to customer claims and legal departments, including depositions and court testimony. Work weekends, evenings, and holidays in a fast-paced environment with potential travel and long periods alone. Maintain valid Texas driver's license and certification to open energized equipment.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of related experience
- Certified to open energized equipment
- Working knowledge of customer standards and specifications for services being installed
- Skilled in using computer software such as Microsoft Office, and customer software programs
- Advanced skills in effective communication
- Working knowledge of distribution system mapping
- Must be able to fluently read, write, speak and comprehend English
- Must be very organized and have a high level of attention to detail
- Must be self-motivated
- Valid Texas Driver License
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time on varied surfaces
- Must be able to move freely, including ability to stoop, crawl, and bend at the knees and waist
- Must be able to pass pre-employment physical, psychological, skill, and drug testing as required
Desired Qualifications
- 5 years preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Additional formal or occupational education focused on electrical services and construction
