Job Summary
Lead legal and regulatory reviews of marketing materials and investor communications for Blackstone's Europe Private Wealth and ICS teams; advise on AIFMD/MiFID compliance, assist with global marketing registrations, develop educational materials for Private Wealth professionals on EU marketing and fundraising regulations, and serve as a local SME for European marketing regimes across the EMEA region.
Required Qualifications
- 6-9 years at a compliance consultancy or alternative asset management firm
- prior experience in a relevant marketing/distribution compliance role
- knowledge of alternative investments
- understanding of AIFMD, MiFID and other European marketing regulations
- strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- strong drafting and organizational skills
- excellent judgement
- ability to communicate confidently, effectively, and diplomatically
- ability to work independently while remaining a strong team player
- ability to interpret legal and business terms
- substantial initiative, creativity and drive
