Distribution & Collection Maintenance Technician I (87649)

Assists with routine to complex maintenance and construction activities including sanitary sewer jetting, manhole maintenance, hydrant flushing, and repair of water, sewer, and storm lines. Operates heavy and light duty equipment for maintenance assignments while performing snow removal by hand or with small and heavy equipment. Installs specialized distribution and collection equipment, conducts CCTV inspections, and assists with water service turn-offs and turn-ons. Responds to customer inquiries, performs data entry for maintenance logs, and conducts routine safety checks on vehicles and equipment. Works on an on-call schedule outside normal hours at the Leon A Wurl Service Center in Erie, CO. Entry-level position with hands-on training provided.
