Job Summary
Distribution Center Supervisor I at DTNA Canton PDC oversees daily distribution-center operations, including reception, delivery, inventory control, and coordination with leadership to meet production and distribution goals. Responsibilities include supervising day-to-day activities, coaching and developing employees, managing budgets, maintaining safety and security, and applying Lean/Continuous Improvement practices. Required Qualifications
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree
- Typically requires 2-4 years of relevant experience with degree or 6 years in lieu of degree
- Decision maker for daily activities that are guided by practice and production requirements with oversight from manager
- Supervises day-to-day work and participate in coaching and development of employees on the Technical and Business Support band in operations, manufacturing, and/or logistics
- Knowledge of Lean/Continuous Improvement tools and principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
