Job Summary
Distribution Center Supervisor leads daily operations within a regional distribution center area, supervising a team of associates, coordinating workflow, and addressing operational issues to meet performance metrics and deadlines. Responsibilities include supervising, training, and motivating shift employees; conducting performance reviews; ensuring safety and regulatory compliance; managing staffing through shift schedules; optimizing processes; coordinating with other supervisors/departments; ensuring accurate order processing and proper storage of products; handling incident reports; communicating with management and teams; presenting performance data; identifying improvement opportunities; and leading special projects to enhance DC operations. The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of experience in logistics/operations, with 1+ years in a leadership role preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in logistics, business, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in operations or logistics
- 1+ years of leadership experience (preferred)
- Ability to operate powered warehouse equipment (licensed)
