Job Summary
Lead a team of 6–8 receiving associates by coaching, developing, and mentoring staff while ensuring orders are received, processed, and pulled accurately on tight daily deadlines. Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of vendor-owned inventory, manage cycle counts for accuracy, and monitor workflow from receiving through production staging. Train employees on best practices, safety procedures, and operational standards, while tracking daily performance metrics and preparing reports for management. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and recommend process improvements to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Required Qualifications
- 5–7 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or logistics environment
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
- Superior decision-making, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to motivate others while holding your team accountable
- A collaborative mindset and positive attitude
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Stand and walk on concrete floors throughout the workday
- Work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment
- Frequently lift up to 20 pounds
- Lead by example in a fast-paced, hands-on operation
