Job Summary
Conduct workload planning and production execution for a fast-paced shipping operation, coordinating selection, shipping, receiving, cross docking, and trailer loading activities. Lead weekly operations plans to process customer volume timely while supervising internal and external quality controls to meet service commitment levels. Manage inventory control and overall quality programs to maintain daily service metrics and perfect order standards. Balance workload planning to achieve budget and production goals, ensuring all safety and regulatory compliance including OSHA and DOT regulations. Coach and develop hourly associates through engagement programs to foster a collaborative environment and enhance individual skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years' management experience in supply chain distribution
- Proficient in OSHA and DOT regulations
- WMS and LMS experience
- Project management experience
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize workload appropriately in order to balance multiple demands and meet timelines as required
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Equivalent experience to Bachelor's Degree
- WMS and LMS experience
- Project management experience (LEAN, KAIZEN, Agile)
- Previous experience implementing employee engagement, mentoring and development initiatives
