Job Summary
Stage products by trip/route number and location as received from packing and pulling areas. Use an electronic scanner to record each piece of product and load items onto trucks by store location for outgoing overnight shipments and consolidated zone-to-store orders. Reconcile and prepare all overnight UPS shipments to respective locations, ensuring timely processing of designated orders by scheduled departure times. Maintain a clean and organized work station while adhering to all safety rules, including hazardous material handling. Operate in a warehouse setting with continuous exposure to industrial noise, bright lighting, and varying temperatures, requiring the ability to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for an entire shift.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Forklift certification
- Must be able to lift and move merchandise of up to 60 lbs
- Must be able to push/pull up to 300 lbs using mechanical aids
- Must be able to bend or stoop to floor-level shelves
- Must be able to reach shelves (eight feet) with use of stool or ladder when necessary
- Must be able to get in and out of the back of truck with parts while using a ramp when necessary
- Must be able to stand and walk for entire work shift
