Job Summary
Manage day-to-day operations of the Rx distribution center, overseeing a team of 30+ associates across order processing, inventory, shipping, and receiving. Implement and optimize standard operating procedures to enhance productivity while ensuring strict compliance with internal standards and external regulatory requirements. Coordinate receipt, storage, and shipment of materials, and execute quality control measures and regular audits to verify medication accuracy. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting training for staff. Assist in defining project terms for data collection initiatives and ensure adherence to policies regarding warehouse operations and equipment usage. This 2nd shift role runs from 3:30pm to 12:00am Monday through Friday with flexibility based on business volume.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in a Distribution Center, Production, or Manufacturing environment
- Minimum 2+ years experience with MS Office
- Bachelor's Degree
- Verifiable High School Diploma/GED
- Ability to work multiple shifts or departments
- Ability to maintain strict level of confidentiality
- Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Ability to exercise sound judgement and work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to act quickly and competently in emergencies
- This is a 2nd shift role
- Hours are roughly 3:30pm-12:00am Monday -Friday
- Additional flexibility needed based on business volume and needs
