Job Summary
Schedule and wave product based on Distribution Planning Manager direction to optimize delivery to stores within 24-48 hours of demand generation. Support systematic waves for off-shifts to ensure consistent production flow, review orders aged over 24 hours, and investigate shipping requirements with Operations leadership. Serve as the subject-matter expert in DC waving strategy, implementing changes to templates as customer requirements shift. Partner with Operations leaders daily to align on capacity and release correct order volumes, while reviewing site capacity plans and weekly supplies to mitigate stockout risks. Drive continuous improvement strategies and assist in resolving issues by partnering with supervisors and other departments.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated Excel experience with the ability to analyze large amounts of data
- Ability to respond with a sense of urgency and work in a fast-paced environment
- Teamwork, communication, and presentation skills
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or Finance/Accounting
- Certifications in data analytics, APICs, Lean manufacturing, and/or Six Sigma
- Experience with WM (warehouse management) systems, specifically Manhattan
- Experience designing and implementing distribution and/or store replenishment strategies
- Experience building reporting in Power BI, Excel, SQL, and/or Python
