Distribution Center Outbound Operations Supervisor

Job Summary
Outlining outbound warehouse operations, supervise and mentor the outbound team to ensure efficient pulling, sorting, packing and loading of orders, and maintain safety and security standards. Design and maintain yard organization and loading protocols, oversee reconciliation of truck loads, and drive cost-saving process improvements. Collaborate with DC management to investigate and resolve shipping errors, schedule hours for peak periods, ensure compliance with supplier guidelines for returns, and lead problem-solving to improve operational performance. Seeking a candidate with leadership experience, strong communication, Lean Six Sigma familiarity, and a focus on operational efficiency and accuracy in outbound orders including UPS, Will Call, and special orders.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ years’ experience in a distribution center or similar environment
- Ability to comply with all safety requirements pertaining to job functions and general Distribution Center safety requirements
- Must be forklift and pallet jack certified
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to use good judgment and follow detailed instructions
