Job Summary
Lead and develop large teams in a high-volume distribution environment while driving safety, productivity, and quality performance. Own key operational metrics, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and prevent recurring issues. Drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate waste, enhance workflows, and support the adoption of new processes. Utilize data, metrics, and reporting tools to identify opportunities, solve operational challenges, and make data-driven decisions. Coach and train employees to foster a culture of accountability and operational excellence. Partner with cross-functional teams to execute priorities and support changing business needs across the distribution center.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of leadership experience in a distribution center, warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or supply chain environment
- Experience with Lean, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, or related operational excellence experience
- High School Diploma or GED
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in a unionized environment
- Experience supervising 30+ associates
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
- Lean and/or Six Sigma Green Belt certification
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
