Job Summary
Distribution Center Operations Manager to lead daily DC operations including order fulfillment, receiving, inventory management, and shipping; supervise warehouse staff; enforce safety/compliance; drive continuous improvement, cost control, and quality via data-driven initiatives; collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors; monitor KPIs and budgets; utilize WMS and reporting tools to optimize workflow and resources.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field strongly preferred
- 3-5 years of progressive leadership experience in warehouse/distribution operations
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), inventory control, and order fulfillment processes
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, quality standards, and distribution metrics
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team, manage cross-functional relationships, and foster a collaborative work environment
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time, including overnight travel
