Distribution Center Manager

Job Summary
Lead the design, construction, and operations of a new distribution center, overseeing daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, and outbound transport. Manage project budgets, staffing, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Achieve performance targets for safety, service, productivity, and cost, utilizing KPIs and problem-solving techniques. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, at least 7 years of experience in warehouse operations, and strong leadership capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 7+ years of experience in warehouse or distribution center operations, including at least 3 years in a managerial role
- Proven experience setting up or expanding a warehouse/distribution center (greenfield, brownfield, or major redesign) including WMS implementation and layout design
- Solid understanding of safety regulations and best practices within warehouse and distribution operations
Desired Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and related technologies
- Demonstrated track record in people leadership, change management, and building teams in fast‐growing environments
- Experience working in Thailand or similar markets, with ability to communicate effectively in Thai and English
- Strong coaching and performance-management skills
- Comfortable leading complex, cross‐functional projects with multiple external vendors and tight timelines
- Uses data, KPIs, and root‐cause analysis to make decisions and drive continuous improvement
- Strong understanding of end‐to‐end distribution processes and how systems, layout, and labor interact
- Clear, concise communication with international Customer Service Team, operations teams, distributors, leadership, suppliers, contractors, and local authorities
- Ensures warehouse operations support reliable, on‐time, accurate deliveries and high customer satisfaction.
