Job Summary
Loads pallets, shrink wraps to secure loads, and loads pallets onto trucks. Inspects trailers for suitability and ensures correct parts are placed on the right trucks with speed and accuracy. Maps out organization of loading customer orders from skids to trucks. Operates pallet jack or forklift as needed. Maintains safe handling and storage practices; keeps work area clean. Pulls stock orders as needed and assists with other DC shuttle processing. Works in a safety-focused environment following all procedures. Requires High School Diploma or 6 months of equivalent work experience; forklift certification preferred. Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and push/pull up to 300 lbs with mechanical aids; capable of climbing to eight feet and entering/exiting trucks; standby for whole shifts. 100% on-site presence at Omaha, NE location with standard warehouse environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or 6 months of equivalent work experience
- Forklift certified preferred
- Regular, reliable, predictable attendance
- Able to speak clearly and listen attentively
- Capable of recognizing and distinguishing letters and numbers (visually and aurally)
- Capable of lifting and moving merchandise up to 60 lbs
- Able to push/pull up to 300 lbs using mechanical aids
- Able to bend or stoop to floor-level shelves and reach eight feet with stool/ladder
- Must be able to get in and out of back of truck with parts via ramp
- Able to stand and walk for entire work shift
- Basic computer APGJCe skills
