Distribution Center Loader

Job Summary
Stage, shrink wrap and load products by trip number and store number as received from stockroom; prepare palletized loads for shipment by safely shrink-wrapping products, balance and place items for transport; inspect trailers for suitability and ensure correct parts are loaded for delivery; map organization of loading customer orders from skids to trucks; operate pallet jack or forklift; maintain product integrity through proper handling and storage; keep work area clean and follow safety procedures; pull stock for orders as needed and assist with processing other DC shuttles; strong emphasis on safety, reliability and basic computer skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or 6 months of equivalent work experience required
- Forklift certified preferred
- Regular, reliable, predictable attendance
- Able to speak clearly and listen attentively
- Capable of recognizing and distinguishing letters and numbers (visually and aurally)
- Basic computer APGJCe skills
- Ability to lift/move merchandise up to 60 lbs and push/pull up to 300 lbs with mechanical aids
- Able to bend or stoop to floor-level and reach eight feet high when necessary
- Able to enter back of truck using a ramp
