Job Summary
Distribution Center Loader with primary duties including staging, shrink-wrapping, and loading products by trip/store numbers, preparing palletized loads for shipment, and ensuring correct parts are loaded onto the right trucks. Responsibilities include inspecting trailers, maintaining load integrity, organizing load flow from skids to trucks, operating pallet jack or forklift, maintaining a clean workspace, pulling stock orders for loading, and assisting with other DC shuttle processing. Required skills include high school diploma or equivalent, forklift certification preferred, reliable attendance, ability to lift up to 60 lbs, push/pull up to 300 lbs with mechanical aids, basic computer skills, and strong clear communication. Workplace environment involves exposure to moving parts and variable temperatures; safety procedures and regulations must be followed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or 6 months of equivalent work experience
- Forklift certified preferred
- Regular, reliable attendance
- Able to lift and move merchandise up to 60 lbs
- Able to push/pull up to 300 lbs using mechanical aids
- Able to bend or stoop to floor level
- Able to reach up to eight feet with assistance
- Able to stand and walk for entire shift
- Basic computer APGJCe skills
- Clear speech and attentive listening
