Job Summary
Distribution Center Loader responsible for staging, shrink-wrapping, and loading products by trip and store number from stockroom; prepares palletized loads for shipment, ensures correct parts are on the right truck with accuracy, and assists with pallet building. Must operate pallet jack or forklift, inspect trailers, maintain safe handling and storage, and pull stock orders as needed. Role emphasizes safety procedures, timely loading, and organization of customer orders from skids to trucks; experience with basic computer skills and clear communication are required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
- Forklift certification preferred
- Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 60 lbs
- Ability to operate pallet jack or forklift as needed
- Able to stand and walk for entire shift
- Able to bend or stoop to floor-level shelves and reach eight feet with ladder or stool
