Job Summary
Distribution Center Loader responsibilities include staging products on pallets, shrink-wrapping loads, and loading pallets onto trucks. Duties also encompass inspecting trailers, ensuring correct parts are packed for delivery, organizing load flow from skids to trucks, operating a pallet jack or forklift, maintaining safe storage conditions, pulling stock orders as needed, and supporting other DC shuttles. Required skills include clear verbal communication, attentiveness, ability to recognize letters and numbers, and basic computer use. The role requires the physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs and push/pull up to 300 lbs with mechanical aids, while adhering to safety procedures. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or 6 months of equivalent work experience
- Forklift certified preferred
- Regular attendance
- Able to lift up to 60 lbs
- Able to push/pull up to 300 lbs with aids
- Ability to stand and walk for entire shift
- Basic computer APGJCe skills
