Job Summary
Distribution Center Loader tasked with staging, shrink-wrapping, and loading products by trip and store numbers from stockroom. Prepares palletized loads for shipment (shrink-wrapping, balancing and placement), assists with pallet building, and selects products for specific routes. Responsibilities include staging products on pallets, inspecting trailers, ensuring correct parts and orders are packed accurately, mapping organization of loads from skids to trucks, operating pallet jack or forklift, maintaining safe handling/storage, keeping work area clean, pulling stock orders as needed, assisting with processing other DC shuttles, following safety procedures, and performing other duties as assigned. Requires High School Diploma or equivalent, forklift certification preferred, reliable attendance, basic reading/numerical recognition, basic computer skills, ability to lift up to 60 lbs and push/pull up to 300 lbs, and stamina for a full shift.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or 6 months of equivalent work experience
- Forklift certified preferred
- Regular, reliable attendance
- Able to lift up to 60 lbs and move up to 300 lbs with assistance
- Able to operate pallet jack or forklift
- Basic computer APGJCe skills
- Able to stand/walk for entire shift
- Able to bend or stoop to floor level and reach up to 8 feet
- Ability to communicate clearly and listen attentively
