Job Summary
Distribution Center Loader responsible for staging products on pallets, shrink-wrapping to secure loads, and loading pallets onto trucks. Duties include inspecting trailers, ensuring correct parts are loaded, organizing pallet layouts for efficient delivery, operating pallet jack or forklift, maintaining safe handling and storage of products, and supporting other DC shuttles. Must maintain a clean work area, follow safety procedures, and perform other duties as assigned. Requires High School Diploma or equivalent experience; forklift certification preferred; physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs and push/pull up to 300 lbs; basic computer skills; reliable attendance.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or 6 months of equivalent work experience
- Forklift certified preferred
- Regular, reliable, predictable attendance
- Able to speak clearly and listen attentively
- Capable of lifting and moving merchandise up to 60 lbs.
- Able to push/pull up to 300 lbs. using mechanical aids
- Able to bend or stoop to floor-level shelves and reach with assistance when necessary
- Able to stand and walk for entire work shift
