Job Summary

Oversee and assist with day-to-day activities of assigned shifts and warehouse associates, monitoring work related to warehousing, transportation, safety, and inventory functions. Champion safe working conditions, ensure adherence to warehouse protocols, and coordinate all warehousing activities with management to maintain operational efficiency. Implement work procedures to increase productivity, evaluate team performance, provide training, and record inventory transactions using manual or automated systems. Reinforce SEAL and Standard Work principles to boost productivity and service excellence while assisting with facility maintenance and equipment handling.

Required Qualifications

  • High School or GED degree
  • Must be able to lift products weighing up to approximately 50 pounds
  • Handling of tires (e.g., rolling, destacking, team lifting) greater than approximately 50 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
  • Must be available for alternating Saturdays
  • Must work until the work is completed
  • Must be able to stand
  • Must be able to walk
  • Must be able to sit
  • Must be able to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls
  • Must be able to reach with hands and arms
  • Must be able to climb stairs
  • Must be able to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
  • Must be able to talk, hear, taste and/or smell
  • Must be able to work in weather conditions prevalent at the time
  • Must be able to work in a moderate noise level environment
  • Must be able to travel 5% of the time
  • Must be able to express ideas, request actions, formulate plans, & policies by means of clear and effective verbal communications
  • Must be able to ensure the optimum scheduling of work and material resources to meet planned performance targets including proficient use of aligned software / systems
  • Must be able to monitor, interpret and understand policies and procedures and ensure their alignment with organizational strategies and work objectives
  • Must be able to ensure the optimum storage of warehouse, plant, equipment, materials and supplies
  • Must be able to ensure the optimum deployment and utilization of vehicles and moveable plant including proficiency in required software package/s and databases
  • Must be able to manage and apply safe systems of work
  • Must be able to design, implement and manage inventory control systems
  • Must be able to know the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Must be able to plan and prioritize work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals
  • Must be able to hold self and others accountable to meet commitments
  • Must be able to consistently achieve results, even under tough circumstances
  • Must be able to build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions
  • Must be able to develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences

Desired Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of related experience preferred
