Job Summary
Pick merchandise from distribution center aisles, receive returns or deliveries, and verify contents. Count and stock items based on inventory logs, pack orders orderly for shipping, and notify supervisors of damaged or missing goods. Treat all merchandise with care while maintaining a clean, safe environment. Train and support new hires during onboarding. Operate a cherry picker and coordinate workflow within specific operational segments if designated as a Senior Generalist. Work extended periods sitting, standing, or walking while pushing and moving boxes up to 50lbs. Follow detailed instructions for picking, packing, and record-keeping to ensure accurate, timely, and safe execution of assignments.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Good math, language and reading skills
- High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment
- Follow detailed instructions for picking and packing operations and keeping records
- Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner
- Maintain a clean & safe environment
- Capable of sitting, standing and walking for extended periods of time
- Able to push and move boxes up to 50lbs
