Distribution Center Exotec (ASRS) Supervisor

Job Summary
Supervise the daily operation of the Exotec system, including picking, packing, inducting, and overall workflow to ensure orders are processed safely, accurately, and on time. Provide daily leadership, coaching, training, and direction to associates while coordinating labor assignments, workstation coverage, and workflow priorities. Monitor Exotec workstations, system dashboards, conveyors, totes, scanners, and exception queues to maintain efficient workflow and communicate operational concerns. Partner with the on-site Exotec Maintenance Technician, Inventory Control, Shipping, Replenishment, Systems, and Operations teams to resolve day-to-day equipment issues, inventory discrepancies, and order flow interruptions. Ensure associates follow all company safety policies and procedures related to automation, restricted access areas, pedestrian traffic, lockout/tagout boundaries, and material handling equipment. Conduct routine audits of workstations, inventory accuracy, packing quality, tote handling, and exception processes to ensure compliance with company standards. Coordinate the completion of all required monthly and annual cleaning activities for the Exotec system in accordance with the Exotec maintenance agreement. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all Exotec work areas, including picking, packing, inducting, workstations, staging areas, equipment, and surrounding workspaces. Monitor inventory levels of boxes, packaging materials, labels, and other operational supplies, and coordinate replenishment as needed to support daily operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Two or more years of supervisory or team lead experience in a warehouse, distribution, fulfillment, manufacturing, or similar environment
- Experience with warehouse automation, automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS), goods-to-person technology, warehouse management systems, or similar technologies
- Working knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory control, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, quality, and safety
- Strong communication, leadership, coaching, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to changing operational needs in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with warehouse management systems, Microsoft Office applications, handheld scanners, and other warehouse technology
