Job Summary
Distribution Center Employee responsible for order picking, loading/unloading, sorting, and handling products at the Calgary and Rocky View, Alberta centers. Duties include using lift trucks and RF scanners to prepare and verify orders, labeling and documenting orders, assisting with cycle counts, ensuring accurate shipping, and maintaining data accuracy on shipments and packaging. Requires basic computer skills, ability to stand for extended periods, capacity to lift up to 50 lbs, attention to detail, and reliable communication with supervisory staff. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one (1) year warehouse distribution experience
- Prior lumber experience desired
- Must have basic math and analytical skills
- Must be computer literate, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Self-started, pro-active and able to take initiative
- Basic familiarity with construction tools and equipment
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work duties as required
- Understanding and willingness to maintain HSE standards
