Job Summary
Receive pallets to floor aligned by vendor to ensure accurate receipt by purchase order. Stage and load outbound trailers per shipping best practices, ensuring arrows up for larger cartons on the bottom and lighter cartons on top. Stack library items left to right to insure safe handling practices for unloading. Store, putaway, pick, and ship product accurately to meet safety, security, and productivity standards. Conduct operations in accordance with federal, state, and local laws while maintaining a clean, debris-free warehouse. Requires consistent lifting of 50 lbs and prolonged standing, twisting, and bending.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of distribution experience
- Basic mathematics and reading skills
- Strong understanding of inventory flow
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to consistently lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Position entails prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending and climbing
