Job Summary
Receive pallets to the floor aligned by vendor to ensure accurate receipt by purchase order. Stage and load outbound trailers per shipping best practices, stacking library items left to right for safe handling. Conduct operations that promote safety, ensure product accuracy during storing, picking, and shipping, and maintain a clean warehouse free of debris. Comply with departmental productivity goals and adhere to federal, state, and local laws. Requires consistent lifting of 50 lbs and ability to stand, twist, and squat for prolonged periods.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of distribution experience
- Basic mathematics and reading skills
- Strong understanding of inventory flow
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to consistently lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Position entails prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending and climbing
