Job Summary
Utilize an RF Scanner to pick large, heavy outbound freight according to pick tickets while operating a forklift. Assure freight is stacked safely, organized, and within guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned by management, including operating riding jacks, order pickers, reach trucks, and sit-down forklifts. This active role involves lifting, pulling, and moving heavy duty truck parts exceeding 50 lbs, along with walking, bending, twisting, and pushing throughout the day. Exposure to dirt, dust, fumes, noise, and temperature variances is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to operate a RF Scanner
- Distinguish between multiple picking quantities and case counts
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to operate a riding jack, order picker, reach trucks and sit-down forklifts
- Ability to lift, pull and move heavy duty truck parts that might be in excess of 50 lbs
- E-Verify work authorization
