Job Summary
Sort, pick, stock, and stage materials while loading and unloading items from racks, shelves, or vehicles. Stack boxes, ladders, and pallets of construction industrial products. Maintain work area conditions by keeping spaces free of trash and ensuring products are in correct locations. Follow safety policies and procedures, including intermittent physical exertion such as walking, standing, stooping, and lifting materials over 50 pounds. Perform specialized distribution center tasks involving order picking, receiving, shipping, and returns under close supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work in a physically demanding work environment
- Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and maneuvering material or equipment that may be heavy (50+ pounds) or awkward
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 5% of the time
Desired Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred
- 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility
- 6+ months of relative experience
