Job Summary
Receive pallets to floor aligned by vendor and stage and load within outbound trailers as per shipping best practices. Ensure accuracy of load per best practices, stacking library items left to right to insure safe handling practices for unloading. Conduct operations that promote safety and comply with federal, state, and local laws while maintaining a clean, debris-free warehouse. Ensure product stored, putaway, picked, and shipped accurately to meet company standards of safety, security, and productivity. Maintain individual, team, and departmental productivity and performance goals.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of distribution experience
- Basic mathematics and reading skills
- Strong understanding of inventory flow
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to consistently lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Position entails prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending and climbing
