Job Summary
Receives, examines, and organizes incoming shipments, rejecting damaged items and recording shortages while corresponding with the operations team. Track exact shipment arrival times, inspect products for defects, and manage impaired merchandise. Organize warehouse space, stock, and maintain inventory by labeling merchandise according to size and shape. Box, wrap, and pack orders accurately; prepare and ship all orders efficiently. Operate lifts and hand trucks to move items following safety procedures. Maintain the work area, equipment, and shipping supplies in a clean, orderly condition. Complete periodic stock counts of all inventory. Requires high school diploma, 1–2 years of distribution experience, and ability to lift 50 pounds. Full-time role with background check required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1–2 years of experience in a shipping and distribution environment
- Basic proficiency with inventory systems, data entry, and Computer Skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform
- Clear verbal and written communication for coordinating with team members and vendors
- Ensuring accuracy in labeling, packing, and documentation
- Must be able to pass background check
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures
