Job Summary
Manage finished goods inventory stocks and maintain truck equipment through daily inspections and preventative maintenance. Operate and maintain forklifts while loading, unloading trucks, and conducting post-order activities for returns and credits. Execute daily data entry for customer orders and inventory control to ensure accuracy exceeding 98%. Support sales via email, quotes, and phone calls, while managing inbound and outbound transportation schedules. Fill in as DC Manager when absent and adhere to credit management policies to ensure customer satisfaction. Achieve monthly shipment rates and cycle count targets through strong organizational skills and effective communication.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Ability to safely operate forklift
- 2-5 years of experience with customer service or supply chain operations
- Strong computer skills/analytics
- Record of working and/or collaborating in a distribution or customer service position
- Up to 10% travel for training purposes or backfilling responsibilities
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Successful completion of a post-offer, pre-hire background check
- Successful completion of a drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- Associates Degree or bachelor's degree in business, Customer Service, or Supply Chain Management
- Experience working with municipalities and city requirements
