Distribution Center - Assistant General Manager

DC Assistant General Manager leads and supervises a large team across Inbound, Warehouse, Outbound and Office Operations within a ~500,000+ sq ft distribution center. Works with the General Manager to develop strategies to maximize productivity and control costs, guides Associates and DC Managers, and collaborates with Stores, vendors, and cross-functional teams (Merchandising, Supply Chain, Operations) to optimize operations. Responsibilities include evaluating work methods and staffing to ensure efficient, accurate movement of product; driving continuous improvement and cost-to-serve reductions; maintaining safe, organized warehouse layout and processes; coaching and developing management staff; maintaining a union-free environment; and upholding safety standards with routine travel (<10%). Required skills include leadership, problem solving, process improvement, communication, and a strong understanding of warehouse operations and KPIs; travel and relocation openness are noted as part of duties, with a pay range specified for certain U.S. locations.
