Job Summary
Lead daily supervision of approximately 30 staff members to ensure internal and external customer demands are met while driving continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and cost through Lean Manufacturing tools. Develop daily and weekly build/ship plans by evaluating customer orders against available labor and materials to meet on-time delivery objectives. Execute data-driven action plans to improve standard work and performance, tracking team achievements and recording improvement opportunities. Evaluate associate performance, develop coaching and training plans, and work with HR to resolve issues and top-grade talent. Create and deploy policy action plans across all areas using Veralto Enterprise System tools, budget reports, and company goals.
Required Qualifications
- Availability to work the 1st shift (8:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
- 1 year or more of direct management experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with both Sr. Leaders and Associates
- Scheduling, planning, and project management skills and experience
- Strong time management skills
- Data and fact-based problem solving and reporting skills
- Lean manufacturing experience (Kaizens, Kanban, root cause counter measures, etc.)
- Basic financial understanding
- Experience with inventory management
Desired Qualifications
- BA/BS degree a plus
- Spanish
