Job Summary
Define and drive long-term integration strategy and roadmap for FEOL/MEOL technology development in Advanced CMOS Logic. Lead development and deployment of breakthrough process technologies to address critical customer High Value Problems, while resolving complex integration, yield, performance, reliability, and manufacturability challenges. Conceive, invent, and implement innovative technologies to generate significant patent portfolios and industry impact. Partner directly with strategic customers and senior technical leaders to influence roadmap decisions and accelerate technology adoption. Represent Applied Materials in external technical forums and customer engagements. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to senior engineers and staff.
Required Qualifications
- PhD in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field
- 15+ years of semiconductor technology development, process integration, or advanced process engineering experience
- Demonstrated record of significant technical contributions, patents, publications, industry recognition, and technology leadership
- Recognized internally and externally as an industry authority in FEOL/MEOL integration and advanced CMOS technology development
- Demonstrates exceptional depth in semiconductor process integration and broad expertise across related process modules and disciplines
- Maintains deep understanding of industry roadmaps, customer technology directions, and competitive landscapes
- Communicates complex technical concepts effectively to engineers, executives, customers, and industry leaders
- Builds alignment across organizations and influences senior stakeholders to adopt new technical directions and strategies
- Serves as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, key customers, and technical communities
